"Sunshine." She felt his lips land on top of her head, but she didn't dare move. She wasn't ready to break the aftercare spell. "It's time to go home. I want to wake up in our bed." When her only response was to bury her head deeper into his chest, he patted her tender ass.

"Carry me to the car, please, bear."

"I will, baby, but you have to get dressed. Come on; I'll help you."

As soon as he had her clothes pulled into place and she was wrapped in her coat, she was back in Octavius' arms, her legs wrapped around his middle with his hand on her naked ass beneath her dress. Her soft laughter had his cock stirring again. "You were the one who demanded I go without panties."

She felt the rain hit the top of her head when he stepped out into the cool night air. "It's still raining, bear."

"I know, baby, but it has slowed down a bit from the downpour of a few hours ago."

He managed to open her door without setting her down, easily putting her in the passenger seat. As she sucked in air through her teeth, she tried to shift so not so much of her ass touched the unrelenting leather that seemed so soft a few short hours ago.

O shook his head and smiled. "And you wanted me to keep going."

Her pout went unnoticed as he shut the door and rounded the hood of the truck. Once he was settled into his own seat, he pulled onto the road.

"He missed it."

Her eyes rounded. "I'm sorry; I hadn't meant to say that out loud."

"But you did, and you're right. I missed it. I didn't realize how much until I had you tied and waiting for me."

"That was the same time I realized it, too." She turned to look out the windshield. "We were so focused on making a family that we let part of us fall to the wayside."

"We did."

"We can't do that again. I need this part of us."

"Okay, baby. We'll make it a point to—"

"Stop!"

The panic in her voice had him hitting the brakes in an instant, the ass end of the truck swaying dangerously for a few seconds. "Rowena, how many times do I have to tell you not to do that?" That was all the further he got in his scolding before she was unbuckling her seatbelt as she reached for the door handle. "Where are you going?"

"I saw something." She squinted into the darkness as she opened her door the slightest bit. "I swear, she was there."

"I swear to God, Ro, if you tell me you saw a deer, I am going to paddle your ass."

"Did you hear that?"

"Hear what? Rowena!" She was out of the truck in an instant, her barely covered feet sinking into the cold puddles.
